A note to our AXIS Community (sent 5/3/20):
The best in humanity really does shine through during difficult times. We are beyond grateful and so humbled by your support and generosity, as well as the love you have expressed over the past 7 weeks. Our community has come together in a way that has been bigger than we ever imagined. When this crisis began and the shelter in place order was put into effect, you stood up and showed strength and selflessness by offering help to your AXIS family, both financially – for which we thank you from the bottom of our hearts – as well as emotionally. The outpouring of concern from our community has been beautiful. It is the reason we are even more committed and determined to come out of this together, better than before.
Our goal from the beginning was to ensure that we stay connected and engaged with our AXIS community and to make sure we all stay healthy, mentally and physically, during the quarantine. That was a small part of our commitment to you. We had to pivot and go online to bring you content to help you stay fit and safe, and to maintain as much normalcy as possible through your AXIS workouts, regardless of the platform. We are thankful for technology and the years of training knowledge of your team of trainers that has allowed us to implement this shift so quickly. With the workouts (both recorded and live), recipe tips, cooking classes, jokes and zoom yoga, we want you to laugh, happy cry and be empowered by knowing we will make it through this and thrive.
Our top priority as we look towards our re-opening is your safety and that of our team. We want you to focus on your health & wellness and not worry about anything when you come back to AXIS. We have continued to clean daily in preparation for our new norm. We hired a company to do a complete disinfecting of your training space and we will 10X the CDC cleaning guidelines, so you will be confident as you become stronger and healthier inside and out. While evaluating social distancing at places like Target and Costco, it’s been nice to see people calm and comfortable. While we will not have a microphone telling people to stay 6 feet apart, we will have signage from top to bottom, and designated training spaces to keep everyone safe.
We can’t wait to welcome you back! In the meantime, we send our love to you and your families and hope you stay healthy and safe. We will continue to do everything we can to keep you moving, motivated and ready for anything!
Much Love,
Scott, Alli & The AXIS Team
